edh lamport, thank you again for reading and responding. I’ve had people say this to me in church. Or, just in passing while talking about church. It’s always been something that didn’t sit right with me. I should also say, I’ve heard people say nonblack churches are blah. That hasn’t been my experience across the board. It all depends on where a person goes and what they are looking to experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to gather my thoughts and express them here.
