Here’s my read on Pete — that he’s a white gay male running for president screams privilege to me. It’s obvious why a white gay man is first to do so in this way within our LGBTQ letters. Second, I think he’s a quick study on racism. He’s studied and knows what to say. I think it’s cerebral for him on racism. My evidence is him saying all lives matter and then correcting. I appreciate the correction but his saying all lives matter said it all. Most of all, I appreciate how Pete is a man of faith. White evangelicals need to go to hell. People on the left need to lead in the realms of faith. All that said, I had a dream a few months ago that Pete won something and white evangelical went crazier. If that’s possible. I agree with you. He’s not ready.
