Hi, again, Glenn. Sorry for the additional response. I meant to add information about genetics in my first response. Empathy is key. A study has shown empathetic conversations can ease prejudice, bias, and interpersonal racism. There’s a study that shows people have a racial empathy gap for Black people and pain (including Black people). Separately, a recent study also shows a link between genetics and empathy. Another separate study shows trauma can be intergenerational and alter genes. Taken together, these studies could shed some light on race relations or, as some say, racist relations.
