Hi Bang Stick, the voice in the piece is a little elevated to connect with the crown. I don’t know, that’s how I felt it while writing. I felt more formal than angry. Innocence is an interesting word and concept when I think about all its meanings and apply them to race relations. And the guilt part is a fine line because it is the opposite of innocence, but not effective. Awareness is the starting point and maybe the middle point between innocence and guilt.
