Hi Jim, it may depend on the preference and the person.

But preferences or biases in the minds of people with power can be devastating.

Even if the preference is a natural inclination toward people like you. That’s got to go and be regulated because of the power dynamic.

It’s the preference, or prejudice, with power that’s particularly problematic.

For that reason, I don’t cut slack or give caveats to preference and bias. Because, many of these preferences and biases are choking and killing people.

There’s no need to focus on the exceptions or the innocuous ones. There are plenty in plain sight that are poisonous and painful.
