Hi Julie, yeah, it’s disturbing to hear a non-Black person say they understand what it’s like to be Black. Most people would never say that. But it’s out of this world for someone to claim they are Black like Dolezal. We need justice as we meld. Mend and meld. Meld and mend. I’m not sure the order or which comes first or perhaps they are connected and simultaneous. We need both. But I might lean toward mend. Thanks for your read and comment!
