Hi Kerry, as I reread the piece, I have mixed emotions. I didn’t intend for this to be partisan. (I write that for anyone who reads this in the future.)

I just want action and appropriate priorities by those in power. And, there’s a part of me that wants policymakers to do everything they believe will solve the problem. Let’s do something, try it someone’s way. And be ready to admit failure and adjust. Thank you for reading and responding.
