Hi Marley, I think your points are all the way solid! I can say I have numerous issues and question marks about taxes and returns. I’m still stuck on capitalism so I wonder how much capitalism is the problem with our votes not counting. Capitalism’s focus on money with little interest in supportive policies could be to blame?Plus the dollars in politics and our income gaps could make votes ineffective. Then there’s plain racism. This piece helped me to expect and require policies, programs, platforms, and laws that are Black specific. It seems like the parties come to us with generalities and general goodness and rightness. Hey, keep writing and speaking about these issues! It is good stuff, fundamental, and centers us. I’m happy I read part II and part I.
