Hi, Nicole, it can be a tough place and unsettling. But, I made some amazing friends there. It’s been 5 years since I went to BA, and today I spoke to 3 friends from BA. I chat with them regularly, one of them daily. The stares and assumptions are continuous. They happen online, through social apps, and on the street. But you are very likely to find people with whom you can see eye-to-eye. They may not be from BA, but they may be in BA. I will check your blog. If you need anything let me know!
