Hi, Sherry!! I’ve been writing a bit more slowly lately, working on some other projects, and reading a lot more! Lots of reading, haha. This was a challenging piece for me because of the nuances. It started as a question in my mind and then I went to work with research. This superiority comes in part from the idea that “might makes right.” To your point, Baldwin wrote, or said, those who “debased others debased themselves.” In that way, anti-racism really is a come up for all.
