Hi there. My article is a little unfocused. My point is that usually we should believe people when they say something is xyz but there are a number of factors of course and sometimes we shouldn’t. I agree with Hill. Hill’s issue is that he used the phrase “from the river to the sea” and specifically he said, “A free Palestine from the river to the sea.” I found this blog post to be a good explanation for why it is offensive to some. I should also say Hill has had critics for other statements and associations people saw as antisemitic and anti-Israel.
