They aren’t uniform entirely across the world and time. There is not biological basis. But it is here now. It has meaning. It is political as James Baldwin says in The Fire Next Time. This piece is saying white people have to redefine the term and meaning of ‘white.’ In addition to overhauling all US systems, the term ‘white’ should change to something else.
