I agree, any age of investigative journalism is dead. I don’t expect it to come back. And it has always been biased. I do blame Jussie if he lied. I try to take any incident and look at the bigger picture. When it came to Masod and Chipotle, I looked at the bigger issue. When it came to the high school wrestler with dreadlocks, I looked to the bigger issue. When it came to Covington High School and the MAGA students, I looked to the bigger issue. Usually, I don’t seek to argue specific incidents and the details with people because that’s an endless cycle of more evidence and perspectives. People still don’t agree about any number of obvious incidents. In this case, the bigger points in Jussie’s story and the reactions to his story about MAGA are true. I’ve already rendered an airtight verdict on MAGA. They do it to themselves. So, while Jussie’s lie is foul, I don’t see harm. The harm is being done. The point stands.
