I agree with that 100%! Whiteness is a problem now. I’m not suggesting this is a catchall solution. I think there’s a lot of entitlement and identity in the status of citizenship. These are stolen lands. The notion that people own this country and they can tell anyone to go back anywhere is insane. Or to tell people they need to follow some process? I think so much of that is bound up in citizenship and whiteness. So, here I’ve attacked them both from the side of citizenship.
