I bookmarked your piece on St. Patrick’s Day. I’m going to read it as soon as I finish this response. Your points are on; people remember and have memories. But I seem to be missing something because it seems like Jewish people in America took a different stance. And at least on the question of service refusals against LGBT people, Black people took a different stance. Am I missing something? It appears like Irish Americans, and others, just didn’t. I’m sure there’s a reason. I just don’t get it. But! I am in the middle of a book now that says it will answer that question. I had to publish this piece before I finished it. So, I am going to finish it after I read your story about St. Patrick’s Day. Thanks for your response!
