I came back to read this a few times. I wanted to clap a few times all over again too. But this time, I’m back to highlight and respond. For me, it was transformative when I realized I have privileges and I’m a part of problems. Sometimes as a group targeted for oppression, how I also oppress others isn’t always clear. My awareness of both has enlarged my ability to empathize and work on my stuff. It is a lifetime of work. There are so many great words and wisdom out there on these problems. But we need more. We need people to hear and change. I’m glad you’re adding your voice on this subject to your audience!
