I understand what you are saying. I think it is difficult/impossible for the mainstream media that’s run by, and geared toward, white people to call McCain a white supremacist. Not just because he died, but because white America has a difficult/impossible time calling its own a white supremacist. That’s another reason why this piece is important. When I call McCain a white supremacist, it is a matter of fact based on his record and his comments. Other aspects of McCain do not change that fact. Also, I would point out that some took McCain’s correction of the woman as an Islamophobic comment. The woman said he’s an Arab. Then McCain said, “No, ma’am. He’s a decent family man, citizen, that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues, and that’s what this campaign is all about.” The implication is clear. It was hardly a correction. But the white-owned media touted it as wonderful. It’s important to see it from another angle.
