I use White Christians and white evangelicals as a demographic the same as pollsters. White Christianity also refers to whitewashing — sing this way, pray this way, vote this way, we preach these types of sermons and not those — all centered around whiteness and the priorities, concerns, and methods of whiteness. All of that crucifies Blackness.
