I will be honest, this line was not in my first draft. But, it’s what I felt. I hesitated to include it because I know those subjects are difficult for people. I don’t mention them as an excuse and I’m definitely not a professional. But, I think the comparisons can be helpful. And the psychological, physical, and social, traumas and reactions to racism are proven. I would like us to be that serious about racism. We haven’t tried. And, what’s going on now is not working or good enough. I can’t wait anymore. I need the State to work against racism with all the might it had and has for racism.
