It’s so infuriating and it’s ongoing. I cut 2,000 words from this because there’s just so much to say. You-know-who has said a number of nasty things about Chicago, other major cities, and Black people in general. He’s not alone. I think it’s really important to understand how America made cities. It’s important to understand how the subsidized suburbs still strangle cities. Flint isn’t the first. It can happen in many places. Lead pipes are a big issue. They represent systems to me. They got to go, and so many systems do too. I read Madison, Wisconsin, is one of a few cities to remove all lead pipes. I think you have a connection to Wisconsin, right? I remember something about cheese and Wisconsin!
