I’ve seen a few posts on Medium about Oprah and the White House but this is the first one I read. I appreciate the very balanced and objective points.

I think the media wants her to run and it’s a setup. I agree with your points and I didn’t see any mention of Oprah’s brand. Which I think is great because the focus should be on qualifications.

I worry about people who are convinced to run by people in their ears. I think when that happens it can set things back. I also wish we could pass laws that require stronger qualifications for the office, as you’ve outlined.
