Jeff, first and most important, I salute you for sharing this. All of it is valuable and I know it’s meaningful to many people.

On a small level, I’ve felt what I will describe as insecurity in the gym. Everything from my gym clothes to my sexual orientation feel like they are on display.

And then, there are the sales pitches and upgrades that irritate and annoy me. Oh and I never wanted to do the tour!

And my mind wonders what will the personal trainer think/say about my orientation and being a vegan…

When I was in Buenos Aires, I didn’t really feel any of that about the gyms. But here, it’s a process for me.
