Kevin Farrell, thanks for reading and responding. What you say makes sense, that was my dad’s time which explains why he told me what he did.

The more I live, the more I realize how right he was about so many things.

And, this story is a mixture of all my restaurant experiences. It includes my experiences as a child, as an adult, as a patron, and as a server. My experiences have given me a good understanding. But, I’m not sure I have any solutions. I just hope for open minds. Thanks again.
