May the institutions continue to change until every person is fully embraced, affirmed, and welcomed to serve.

And, may the people in those institutions who are like us, and are our allies, continue to raise their voices and make themselves known.

I’ve learned not everyone in the pews shares the views (of the leadership).

But we do need more institutional change. I’m optimistic that more affirming faith communities are coming out.

Faith communities have lost too many suitable and fit people willing to serve.
