Right! I’m with you. I’ve been surprised to discover how aspects of this thinking are in me. It shows itself in me as I travel overseas and experience other cultures. That could be a benefit to those experiences. I think I’ve been to eight countries.

I struggle when my currency isn’t valued the most. I love the accents, but I struggle with British slang and spelling.

There are privileges, attitudes, and expectations that I didn’t know I had until I lived abroad. And, some of that is related to nationalism, American exceptionalism, and a supremacy culture in ME! I think this calls for another trip! Haha.
