Right on time. I just noticed a change to Medium topics and I thought of your posts about these changes, and then this story was in my feed waiting. I just noticed the topic tags now have featured writers and featured stories. That’s new to me. My stats and pay are up, and I’ve decreased my publishing to 3 times a week or 12 stories a month. But I am concerned. I mostly read people I follow and I respond to the promoted stories like ads to ignore. Maybe that’s not what most people do? As a backup and to expand, I purchased a website, and I have an email list, but I’m not optimistic. Anyway, I appreciate you raising the issue and sounding the necessary alarm.
