So, my point with the empathy part was maybe emojis would help to reinforce the fact that we have feelings. It’s a stretch, I know.

I was also thinking about the studies of Black kids who when asked about doll preference and positive attributes did not choose the dolls that looked like them. Maybe emojis could help with that?

I’m not saying emojis are all right or wrong but that we should think about them. There may be better ways to approach them and use them.
