Thanks, D. I try to keep my pieces short these days but I intentionally put the Black people part in there. And because I’m keeping things trim, I didn’t get to elaborate but I have more thoughts about those words. The most loyal to Black people means just that in every sense — friends, kids, elders, nonbinary, trans, romantic, family members, etc. And because Blackness is humanity, because humanity comes from Blackness, this means Black women are most loyal to humanity.
