Thanks, Don. This piece has been in the works for a long time. It is a big subject and it must be addressed more. I’ve been reading about racial capitalism which is an interesting concept. It suggests that racism and racialism have always been a part of capitalism even in Europe. In other words, racism wasn’t a ploy to divide poor whites and Blacks but it was always at the core of capitalism. It is an interesting concept. I write a lot about racism but I am aware of the many isms we have to battle for a better society. Thanks for reading and your response.
