Thanks, Joe. I agree with your response totally. I’d tried to find the interview just now myself. In this piece, I don’t pick a side or say which is morally right. I was neutral and clinical. Here, I tried to highlight similarities in sentiments about change. And you’re right, people don’t want to empathize but empathy is critical to bridge gaps and to lift all. Perhaps the lack of empathy is one reason our troubles persist.
