Thanks, Shannon. You found the essay that challenges me the most. It was researched so I stand by its point. But, it’s a hard message. Interracial friendships can be hard and harmful at times. But, I believe civil rights legislation of the past was like a nuclear weapon. We need more. But we are also at the hand to hand, foot solider like level combat that’s personal. There are many strategies but friendship is one too.
