That’s not clear. If or what the protocol is for customers who steal. However, the order then pay protocol should take care of that. The statement said something about customer treatment. So, I’m sure an executive thought it’s not protocol to ask customers about their ability to pay or to pre-pay. It would seem like any business could refuse service. So that may have been the protocol too rather than asking customers to pre-pay. It is also not clear how you steal from Chipotle? How is the food not held behind the line until the money is in hand. Maybe that’s another aspect of protocol. You’d think dine and dash would be addressed in restaurant management. But hey, they stole before. Whatever the protocol was/is it wasn’t followed.
