The NRA should disband. And the fact that they’ve drawn their weapons on this random subject further shows how whiteness and guns are intertwined. Side note: I used to work at a train museum. I worked 2 Thomas events. I was actually wearing a Thomas T-shirt from one of those events while writing this piece! Ha. Visibility and diversity matter. I’ve seen the kids who love Thomas. I agree with the company. This change will make a difference. We have to work overtime to expose and educate children — intentionally.
