The privilege is doing a lot for him. This is not to say that white gay men haven’t been part of struggles and leading struggles. But Buttigieg is double dipping/triple tasting(?) in the privilege he’s benefiting from as a white gay man. His whole existence and every part of his identity is due to the oppression/resistance of Black and Brown people. He should focus on South Bend. Listen to Black voters in South Bend. But he will never be satisfied with South Bend in my opinion. He’s probably going to run again repeatedly and I’m tired of that too. Maybe if South Carolina shuts him down he will sit a few out. And don’t get me wrong. He’s not the only I have issues with! I remain disgusted by the fact that 90% of all elected leaders are white and most of them men!
