Well, several, but not all, faith communities believe marriage is an earthly and temporary function. In other words, the next life does not even include marriage for several faiths.

I think that’s an interesting perspective. And perhaps it has not been emphasized enough to give a more balanced view of marriage. Thank you also breaking the news about the repeal.
