When I was younger my mom said, “This country has never even apologized for what it did and does.” (Will I ever be too old to quote my mom?) Your question is a worthy question for a worthy fight. There have been several attempts at something but I’m very interested to see this commission formed. Otherwise, I will be honest, I’m out of here. And, the commission may be vital since a certain group is confused about if Black people still face discrimination. I plan to reach out to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.
