Whew. I will say, I haven’t been following too much more on this after the day the video went out. I watched a few of the videos. I heard about a parent’s response. I saw a few tweets about other major issues with the school and students, and I heard a few pundits and politicians make excuses. I have not watched the student’s interview. All that to say, I didn’t know there was so much going on with the hats and the arguments beyond ‘there was more.’ You make a good point about the pink hats! I should also say the MAGA hats mean many things beyond my focus in this piece. But everything it means is bad.
