Yeah, emojis are more than faces as we know. I think the faces are based on the yellow smiley face. I think I read something about ‘smiley characters.’ And yellow is the color of friendship. I think that’s how we got here. I don’t think they started from a place of inclusion.

But even so when you start adding hair to yellow faces and outfits…a statement is solidifying.
