Yes. It is at times a slim majority that goes Republican, but it is a fact that since LBJ a majority of white voters vote Republican and no Democratic candidate has won the white vote since LBJ. It clearly tracks back to the civil rights movement, strategies, politicians, and white racism. I will add my closing line here again — it’s predictable and despicable.
