You are right, it is a refusal. Willful ignorance. Maybe if our schools taught about the nature of racism, and the consequences of racism along with anti-racism education, we’d be in a better place with more awareness. But, I know we can’t put everything on schools. This is about people who just refuse and it’s something that can’t be forced.
