You’re right on everything here. This is why people believe the system is flaw. Or, that it works as intended against marginalized groups. There are so many factors that make progress slow to impossible. Religious zealots. Worship of the constitution. Capitalism. The expansiveness of the country. It’s like we have 50 countries here. And the fact that the country has never dealt with one of its greatest horrors in racism makes everything impossible. It’s like here we just let the chips fall. The best I can do is speak out, vote, live in the most liberal state, and make plans to relocate overseas! Thanks for reading and your response.
